Charleston Elopement
Love and cake
This beautiful couple who decided to have an intimate elopement in Charleston. From the moment they shared their vision with me, I could feel their excitement and desire for a truly unique and special celebration.
They wanted their elopement to be a reflection of their love story, while still maintaining a classic and beautiful atmosphere. And let me tell you, they nailed it!
With just the two of them, the officiant, and myself as their photographer, this elopement in Charleston couldn’t have been more intimate. It was just them, surrounded by the beauty of Charleston, ready to declare their love for each other. The simplicity and intimacy of the ceremony was truly breathtaking.
Walking the streets of Charleston
Now, here’s the best part – these lovebirds didn’t want to miss out on having a wedding cake. Immediately after the elopement ceremony, we embarked on an adventure through downtown Charleston in search of the perfect cake. The excitement and joy on their faces as we ventured towards Carmella’s Cafe and Dessert Bar was infectious.
What struck me most about this couple’s elopement was how they seamlessly incorporated this informal café visit into their elopement in Charleston. It added a touch of spontaneity and charm that perfectly complemented their intimate celebration. It was a true testament to their personalities and their desire to make this day uniquely theirs.
I am so grateful to have been a part of this elopement in Charleston and witness the love between this incredible couple. It is moments like these that remind me why I do what I do.
