Dani and Phil are getting married next year in Charleston and Phil proposed in one of the most creative ways possible. If you ever meet them, make sure they share their story. All I can say is, it included a somewhat remote beach, a box and a thrilling treasure hunt for “shark teeth” (actually a “ring hunt”…)
So, there was no question we had to start the engagement session at Morris Island Lighthouse at Folly Beach, where it all began. It was a beautiful sunrise – even a little bit chilly at first and a fresh ocean breeze, a welcome surprise in June — Charlestonians know exactly what I am talking about…
Dani looked stunning in her white, flowing dress standing next to Phil — they made a beautiful couple. Do you know what I love most about them? Just how natural and relaxed they were. They laughed, talked and giggled throughout the entire session. I mean, look at the photos!! There were no boring moments, and for being in front of the camera the first time, they did a pretty darn good job!!
BTW — did I mention that Phil is German? He even comes from Stuttgart, my home city and it made me so happy when he started talking to me in my mother language, with a slight Swabian accent. This makes me even more excited for the wedding next summer. I can’t wait for their international celebration and all the German traditions and festivities I sometimes miss.
Beautiful stunning pictures which capture their sweet relationship and the tropical beauty of Charleston.
